Sensational Mini action returns this weekend

Monday, July 15, 2019

The Brands Hatch Mini Festival gets underway this weekend (20/21 July) with our biggest and best ever line-up of Mini action.

There will be plenty of exciting Mini racing with action headlined by the terrific MINI CHALLENGE classes. Top-flight racing machines can be found within the JCW class with vehicles utilizing a two-litre 255hp engine to blast around the technical Indy circuit. Plus, visitors can get up close to the machines with a FREE grid walk on Sunday at 13:35.

Old-school Mini fans will enjoy the Dunlop Mini Se7en series with competitors behind the wheel of retro Mini Coopers. These modified machines can accelerate to 60mph in a frantic 6.6 seconds!

This year's show will honour the 60th Anniversary of the original Mini Cooper with a fantastic display of cars set to bring one vehicle from every year of production. Take a walk through the years and get up close to these machines, followed by an on-track parade on Sunday. This year The Italian Job turns 50 years old and to celebrate Brands Hatch will have a selection of stunning movie cars on show. Mini owners can enjoy a special drive-in screening of the iconic film on Saturday night too!

Children as young as 11 can get behind the wheel of a dual-controlled MINI One on a closed off section of the Grand Prix circuit for an unforgettable first driving experience.

There'll be plenty of extras for all of the family to enjoy including the Heineken live music stage, trade stands, Go Karts, Diggerland experiences, a climbing wall and more!

Tickets for the Mini Festival at Brands Hatch (20/21 July) are available online for £26 for the weekend or £21 per day until midday on Thursday, or on the gate for £25 per day with free entry for under-13s. For more information, please call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
